So I washed my cell phone in the laundry yesterday... Which obviously ended badly.

They wanted $230 to replace my old shitty samsung. So instead I bought an iPhone lols

So I decided to try out the webcam on my laptop. As expected the quality is shitty but this is the best you're going to get because A) I'm lazy and B) I'm an asshole.

I has glasses. They're seriously fucking with me though. I've only been using one eye for the past ... something like 7 years. Suddenly I can see out of both eyes and my brain seriously doesn't know what the fuck.

Imagine closing your left eye and opening your right, the closing your right and opening your left, and doing that back and forth nonstop. My brain seriously can't pick which eye to see out of so it's like jumping back and forth and seriously fucking with my head. The doctor said I should get used to it after a few weeks but for now... SUPER DIZZY!

The other hilarious issue is that my left lens is fairly thick, and my right lens is fairly thin. This means things seem slightly smaller out of my left eye than my right. Mostly this is visible up close, like when I'm leaning in front of my LCD screen here at work. That's when it's REALLY bad though and if I manage to see out of both eyes at the same time the left side of the screen is kinda small and the right side of the screen is kinda big and holy shit is this weird.

Everything is SOOOOO much clearer though. It's fucking creepy. I hope I get used to these soon. Now I just have to wait til I get home so I can down some advil to calm this headache they're giving me.

Ordered glasses today. They'll be done in a week. One eye is the strongest prescription they can give, the other is the weakest. \o/

So. My vision sucks. One eye is far sighted, the other is near sighted. I've never bothered caring before because I didn't have insurance and couldn't afford the doctor's visit and the glasses/contacts to fix it. I can see fine currently, just only out of one eye at a time (It's easier than it sounds, I usually don't even notice or think about it).

I've had both glasses and contacts before. I hate glasses because they're uncomfortable and there's always this "thing" in my peripheral vision that bugs me. I hate contacts because they're extra work and it's so easy to mix up the two different lenses. I'm tempted to try the extended-wear contacts so I can just leave them in all the time... or the daily disposables... either one would be less work. Contacts also have the downside of drying out when they're in your eye and being a total bitch.

Since I have the money and insurance to afford to fix my vision... the question is should I and if I should what should I get? (This can either be for practical reasons or for appearance. Whatever.)

So I just got back from Showdown LAN 2008 in Peoria, IL. It was fucking awesome.

I won a copy of Assassin's Creed and a 680 Watt BFG Tech power supply. I also get a copy of Sacred 2 when it comes out in November.

I'll have a longer post later about what all went on when I'm more conscious, but for now I'm just checking one thing:

Anyone need a 680W BFG Tech power supply? This is it. It sells on Amazon for $120. It's brand new still in the shrink wrap. Let me know.
